Our client is supporting a beauty tech device company specializing in red light therapy, which is launching a new, ultra-thin device. They are building a fresh, flexible brand that encourages creativity. With established relationships in major retail markets including airports, Walmart, and Target, they are focused on expanding their retail presence further. 

Role Overview As the Director of Content and Social Media Strategy, you will be a key leader responsible for shaping the voice and presence of this new brand. This is a highly hands-on role that requires a strategic thinker who can also execute effectively. You will be instrumental in launching the new device and driving brand recognition in the beauty tech market. 

Responsibilities 

-Lead the development and execution of the brand's overall content and social media strategy. 

-Focus on creating engaging, lifestyle-oriented content and campaigns that resonate with the target audience. 

-Curate compelling content and manage strategy campaigns across all relevant social media platforms. 

-Develop and implement innovative social media strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement. 

-Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to maintain relevance and effectiveness. 

-Collaborate with the team to ensure content aligns with brand standards, voice, and business goals. 

-Manage a small team with minimal bureaucracy, allowing for creative freedom. 

-Lead the growth of the team, with the potential to bring in additional team members as needed. 

Qualifications 

-Proven experience in content strategy and social media marketing, preferably in the beauty or technology sector. 

-Demonstrated ability to create and execute successful lifestyle content campaigns. 

-Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for audience engagement and community building. 

-Experience launching new brands or products in a retail environment is a plus. 

-Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. 

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.
