About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Project Manager / Civil Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on delivering private, municipal, and state-funded site development projects across Indiana.

This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to a variety of land development and infrastructure projects, while working closely with clients, internal teams, and junior staff to ensure successful project delivery from concept through completion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of project scope, schedules, and budgets for new and ongoing projects
  • Perform and review design calculations, engineering plans, and construction documents
  • Lead and coordinate site development and reconstruction projects of varying size and complexity
  • Conduct constructability reviews and assist in utility coordination and planning
  • Collaborate with internal teams, sub-consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines and quality standards
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and CAD designers
  • Assist in preparing proposals and technical submissions for private and public sector projects
  • Engage with clients to understand project needs and provide technical recommendations


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in site development / land development projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana OR ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
  • Strong experience with:
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Site design, grading, drainage, and utility layouts
  • Solid understanding of project lifecycle, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills


Preferred Experience

  • Experience working on municipal, private, or state-funded projects
  • Exposure to Indiana-based projects or regional regulations
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
