Role Description

This is a full-time, onsite role for a Project Manager based in the Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. The Project Manager will oversee system integration projects, responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion

of specific onsite projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

This role requires strong on-site leadership, with a focus on organizing and driving field execution. The Project Manager will coordinate site activities including personnel, materials, and access requirements to maintain the schedule and efficiency. They will serve as the primary point of contact/interface with customers, ensuring clear communication, adherence to customer standards, and successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, allocating resources, and maintaining momentum through proactive planning and issue resolution. The Project Manager will attend and lead customer meetings to track progress, address risks, and ensure work remains on schedule and aligned with expectations.

The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with engineering and technical teams, supervise inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field preferred or 6+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in Project Management and coordination
• Planning and organizational skills (priority setting and time management)
• Must possess general computer knowledge, word processing skills
• Skills in Risk Management
• Proficiency in Logistics Management and supply chain coordination
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Must possess the ability to function independently, have flexibility and the ability to work effectively with clients, co-workers and others 
• Requires after hours/on call/weekend work as directed by supervisor
• Experience in the industrial automation industry is a plus
• Willingness to travel domestically
