Role Summary

The Reactive Planner 2 is responsible for reactive service planning and scheduling within the North America Market for the Service & Solutions Delivery (S&SD) organization. This role coordinates field service engineer schedules, parts availability, and equipment readiness to ensure timely service delivery and a strong customer experience. The position plays a key role in building a high-performing, customer-focused planning organization.

The majority of the role involves planning and managing work orders, handling exceptions and escalations, and interacting with customers via phone and email in a fast-paced environment. No relocation assistance is provided.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create medium- to long-term service planning aligned with workload, business objectives, and service commitments
  • Serve as the single point of contact for service order exceptions and escalations involving customers and service engineers
  • Identify planning and scheduling issues, implement solutions, and manage follow-up actions with minimal supervision
  • Analyze recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge management
  • Collaborate with Service, Sales, and Production teams to remove bottlenecks and resolve customer issues efficiently


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, planning, scheduling, or coordination roles
  • Experience with ServiceMax, Salesforce, SAP, or other ERP/planning systems preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong phone presence
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends as needed


How We Work Together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.


For this project, you’ll be contracted via a Randstad company as a temporary worker/contractor and placed at our Client.


The hourly pay range for this role is $25.00
