Position Summary

We’re looking for a service professional who is passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience. In this role, you will support our clients through every step of their service journey, acting as both a dealership advocate and a customer advocate. The ideal candidate thrives on building strong relationships, communicates with care, and takes pride in creating a smooth, positive experience for every guest.


Education and Experience

To excel in this position, you bring confidence with people, comfort with technology, and the ability to manage several projects at once.

• Marine or automotive experience encouraged

• Customer service experience required

• Skilled with computer systems

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Genuine passion for boating and helping clients

• Team oriented, self motivated, and process driven

• Organized with a professional presence

• High school diploma or equivalent


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct all interactions with professionalism and respect

• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external customers

• Look for opportunities to strengthen Strong’s Yacht Center service and sales

• Build positive, productive relationships with customers and team members

• Follow workflow processes and share ideas to improve them

• Maintain a clean, safe, well equipped workspace using 5S principles

• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork

• Handle all sensitive information with discretion


Job Specific Duties

• Respond quickly to customer service requests and complete walk arounds when possible

• Prepare, present, and follow up on service quotes based on technical evaluations

• Maintain accurate pricing for all service work

• Set realistic promise dates based on customer needs and shop capacity

• Open, track, and manage work orders through completion while keeping customers informed

• Ensure work orders are finalized within 48 hours of completion

• Work with subcontractors to confirm quality, pricing, and timelines

• Recommend solutions and products that best fit client needs

• Build strong knowledge to support our sales team

• Work closely with the Service Manager and collaborate with our technicians
