What You’ll Do
- Serve as a go-to legal expert on complex title insurance matters
- Evaluate risk and deliver clear, practical underwriting guidance
- Approve and authorize title insurance commitments and policies
- Partner with internal teams and agents to drive successful closings
- Help develop and refine underwriting standards and best practices
- Share your expertise through training and thought leadership
What You Bring
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Connecticut Bar admission
- 5+ years of title underwriting or commercial real estate law experience
- Strong command of real estate transactions, title, and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional communication, judgment, and relationship-building skills
- A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex deals
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-level transactions simultaneously
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $130,000 – $215,000+ (based on length of relevant experience)
