About the Opportunity
We have partnered with a high-volume secondary market brokerage specializing in parking passes and event tickets to find an elite Senior Technical Lead.
The client operates on a highly sophisticated, proprietary "Just-In-Time" (JIT) fulfillment model. They do not hold physical inventory; instead, their proprietary systems scrape primary marketplaces in real-time, push available inventory to top-tier secondary exchanges (StubHub, GoTickets, etc.) via API, and automatically execute purchases the microsecond a sale is confirmed.
They have a highly functional system built by a talented offshore team. As they scale globally, they need an Enterprise-level Technical Lead to audit their infrastructure, perfect their logic, and engineer their next phase of hyper-growth.
The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a high-caliber Senior Technical Lead with deep domain knowledge in web automation and high-frequency data engineering to take complete ownership of their technical ecosystem.
The mission: Ensure their systems remain top-tier—meaning sub-second latency, 99.9% uptime, and impenetrable scraping logic. The successful candidate will oversee an established development team in Pakistan, serving as the critical bridge between business strategy and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Audit & Enterprise Standardization: Conduct a rigorous audit of the existing POS, scrapers, and API webhooks. Re-architect systems for massive scalability, redundancy, and elite-level monitoring to catch data drops before they affect the bottom line.
- High-Frequency Web Automation & Anti-Bot Strategy: Perfect the client's scraping engine to extract inventory without detection. Master sophisticated proxy rotations and bypass advanced security measures (Cloudflare, Akamai, Kasada).
- Automated Dynamic Pricing: Refine live-scraping "Price to Sell" logic. Ensure the system dynamically tracks competitor pricing and accounts for multi-sided marketplace fees to maximize profit margins automatically.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and manage the offshore development team, establishing rigorous standards for code quality, CI/CD, and system documentation.
Technical Requirements
- Expert Web Automation: Deep professional experience with Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium handling thousands of concurrent, high-speed requests.
- API & Webhook Mastery: Extensive experience with REST APIs and webhooks. Direct experience with ticket marketplace APIs (StubHub, Viagogo, etc.) is a massive plus.
- The Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go.
- Data Consistency & Performance: Hands-on experience using Redis or RabbitMQ for high-speed task queues and inventory locking.
- Cloud Architecture: Strong background in AWS or GCP, specifically with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
