Primary Purpose of Position:
The Senior Systems Analyst plays an integral role in executing the strategic direction, enhancement, and management of BXP’s enterprise applications and systems portfolio. This position collaborates with business leaders and IT teams to deliver innovative solutions, streamline processes, and ensure the reliability, security and compliance of key platforms such as Oracle JD Edwards, Procore, Power BI, AI, and others.
Essential Functions:
Project Management and Application Development Management
- Lead projects of varying complexity and scope in a team environment, overseeing them from start to finish using both Agile and Waterfall project management methods.
- Key responsibilities include mapping out process and data flows, documenting business and technical requirements, and preparing/executing testing, training and deployment plans while maintaining excellent documentation.
- Partner with the Application Development & Data Services Team, offshore developers and business stakeholders to deploy applications and data integrations on time and within budget.
Support & Troubleshooting:
- Serve as one of the team’s subject matter experts and deliver organizational support across a portfolio of 30+ applications while consistently demonstrating excellent customer service.
- Effectively troubleshoot and resolve time-sensitive financial close issues across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger functions.
- Create thorough documentation for resolving issues, keep ServiceNow records accurate and current, and help train Application staff on effective troubleshooting.
Reporting & Data Services:
- Utilize reporting platform background to maintain Crystal Reporting, create Power BI dashboards, and assess other reporting tools for the organization.
- Partner with business clients to define report requirements, manage report changes, and run meetings to align reporting needs.
- Demonstrate interest and motivation to develop knowledge and skills in Microsoft Fabric, database design, data management, large language models (LLMs), AI applications, and to explore possible future uses of AI.
Security & Compliance:
- Monitor and resolve Oracle JDE and SQL integrity alerts and produce integrity report packages.
- Maintain user access in accordance with the SOX controls and generate periodic ERP security report packages.
- Prepare documentation submissions for quarterly SOX audits, coordinating with the IT team and auditors to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst or equivalent role, with both functional and technical responsibilities.
- Knowledge and/or experience in professional principles and practices of GAAP Accounting preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of ERP platforms: Oracle JD Edwards, MRI or Yardi experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, Visio, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Excel, PowerBI and knowledge of relational databases and data architecture.
- Proven success collaborating across technical and non-technical teams with strong project management and documentation skills.

- This position reports to the Manager, Applications.
Salary Range:
- $113,300 - $147,000. BXP offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary and annual discretionary bonus. The range represents expected base salary; compensation will be determined based on role, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
