Sr. Manager, Supply Chain

About the Role
We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain to own and drive end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is responsible for ensuring materials and products move efficiently from suppliers through production and out to customers—balancing cost, quality, and delivery.
You’ll operate cross-functionally and take ownership across procurement, planning, logistics, inventory, and supplier management. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment, requiring someone who can think strategically but also execute day-to-day.
The right person has experience in complex manufacturing environments, ideally with exposure to engineered products and established supplier networks.
What You’ll Do
Supply Chain Leadership & Strategy
- Own supply chain operations across procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory
- Develop and execute strategies to support growth, cost targets, and production needs
- Identify gaps and implement scalable processes and systems
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Build and manage a dependable supplier base
- Source components across multiple categories (mechanical, electrical, and assemblies)
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and performance expectations
- Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery
Production Planning & Execution
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to align supply with build schedules
- Drive demand planning, forecasting, and MRP processes
- Track and support execution of projects involving custom or non-standard components
- Improve material flow, lead times, and supply continuity
Logistics & Operations
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, and transportation
- Optimize domestic and international shipping strategies
- Ensure on-time delivery while managing cost and compliance
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and track KPIs across cost, delivery, quality, and inventory
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Drive process improvements and leverage data to inform decisions
Qualifications
- Strong experience across sourcing, planning, logistics, and supply chain systems (ERP/MRP)
- Track record of operating effectively in fast-paced or scaling environments
- Solid leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Preferred
- Experience in automotive, advanced manufacturing, or other complex hardware environments
- Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement background
Team Structure
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role. You’ll be expected to own and execute across the full supply chain function without a dedicated team. Success requires strong self-direction, the ability to manage multiple priorities at once, and comfort shifting between strategy and execution as needed.
Experience & Education
- 7+ years of supply chain experience, including some leadership responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (advanced degree a plus
