Supply Chain Planner (Sourcing Manager III)

📍 Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite – 5 days/week)

📅 Duration: 10-month contract

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Planner to support supply planning, purchase order management, and inventory execution across multiple sales channels. This role is highly cross-functional and focuses on ensuring product availability, maintaining system accuracy, and proactively resolving supply issues in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and business goals
  • Manage and track open purchase orders (POs) to ensure on-time delivery
  • Identify and resolve supply risks, shortages, and excess inventory
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Logistics, Allocation, and Sales teams
  • Maintain data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems
  • Monitor and report key KPIs such as:
  • On-Time Delivery (OTD)
  • Weeks of Supply
  • Investigate and resolve PO/ASN and shipment-related issues
  • Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory planning, or purchasing
  • Hands-on experience with purchase order management and supply execution
  • Strong understanding of S&OP and supply chain processes
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups; macros/VBA preferred)
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle ERP, or similar
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supply planning and procurement functions
  • Exposure to vendor coordination and logistics processes
  • Experience with MRP tools such as o9 Solutions

Technology Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems

  • Review supply plans and assess impact on purchase orders
  • Resolve supply gaps and recommend solutions
  • Track and report supply chain KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply availability
  • Lead or participate in meetings and provide status updates
