In this role, you will own existing enterprise apps, support financial data pipelines, and help strategically restructure internal data processing subsystems.
Essential Responsibilities
- Backend Dev & Support: Enhance and support internal and vendor apps for portfolio valuation, accounting, and analytics.
- Optimization & Standards: Design scalable data subsystems and contribute to shared frameworks for code reuse and automation.
- Production Support: Work with Finance and Portfolio Management to fix app issues, pricing exceptions, and data anomalies.
- Mentorship: Guide junior team members on software engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Tech Stack: 5+ years of backend experience with C# / .NET Core and T-SQL.
- APIs: Proven experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Domain: 2+ years in financial services, asset management, or banking.
- Agile: Experience managing sprints via Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
- Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and communication skills to work directly with business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data Engineering: Python, ETL pipelines, schema design, or Spark-based data workflows.
- Cloud & DevOps: Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and Redis/NoSQL.
- Finance: Knowledge of fixed-income instruments, mortgage products, or debt accounting systems.
Eligibility & Work Structure
- U.S. Work Authorization: Unrestricted.
- Structure: Hybrid (minimum 4 days/week on-site).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
