Insight Global is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to support a Banking Client! This opportunity is based out of Charlotte, NC, and will be on site 3x a week. Additionally, this opportunity offers quick interviews, competitive rates ($65.07/hr.) and lots of room for growth and success, as this opportunity is a long term contract to hire opportunity with a reputable company.


Must Haves:

  • Ability to work on a W2 basis without sponsorship
  • Ability to work on site in Charlotte, NC 3x a week
  • 8+ years of Java development experience (preferably backend / microservices)
  • Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes in enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Cluster sizing, scaling, and capacity planning CI/CD pipeline development and automation
  • Application performance testing and tuning
  • OpenShift platform maintenance and support
  • Experience working in cloud/containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Proficiency with modern DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, and reliability engineering
  • Experience working in regulated financial environments (AML, financial crimes, compliance) is highly preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Teradata or large-scale data platforms
  • Exposure to transaction monitoring or sanctions screening systems
  • Experience with infrastructure as code or configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

  • A leading financial services organization is seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong OpenShift expertise to support critical applications within its Global Financial Crimes (AML) organization. This role focuses on building and optimizing scalable backend systems that support transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and regulatory compliance across global operations. Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain scalable microservices and APIs in a containerized/OpenShift environment
  • Support OpenShift cluster configuration and sizing to ensure optimal performance and scalability
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git-based workflows) for automated deployments
  • Perform performance testing and tuning of applications running on OpenShift Partner with DevOps, infrastructure, and compliance teams to ensure secure, reliable deployments
