Insight Global is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to support a Banking Client! This opportunity is based out of Charlotte, NC, and will be on site 3x a week. Must Haves:
- Ability to work on a W2 basis without sponsorship
- Ability to work on site in Charlotte, NC 3x a week
- 8+ years of Java development experience (preferably backend / microservices)
- Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cluster sizing, scaling, and capacity planning CI/CD pipeline development and automation
- Application performance testing and tuning
- OpenShift platform maintenance and support
- Experience working in cloud/containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Proficiency with modern DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, etc.)
- Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, and reliability engineering
- Experience working in regulated financial environments (AML, financial crimes, compliance) is highly preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Teradata or large-scale data platforms
- Exposure to transaction monitoring or sanctions screening systems
- Experience with infrastructure as code or configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
