Expedited Transport, Inc. ( dba XTrans ) is a family-owned and operated freight management company specializing in critical shipments and intense OTD requirements. Our portfolio connects our shippers throughout North America to thousands of carriers each year for loads in dry vans, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, sprinter vans and more. Our family leadership spans across four generations of transportation and logistics professionals, and we are looking to grow responsibly and methodically.
What’s the position being offered?
Hustle is a virtue, but experience is king. We are seeking a polished transportation sales professional to spearhead our growth efforts over the next 5-10 years. The position comes with full autonomy on methods and tactics to entice new business. Of course, the primary responsibility will be to connect our top-notch model with new faces in the shipping industry.
Job Responsibilities:
*Reach out to new customers on behalf of XTrans and offer a convincing sales package.
*Develop and onboard new customer leads through lead generation software, cold calling and referrals.
*Attend professional events on behalf of the company, serve as the face of the company to prospective clients and answer questions about our offered services.
*Travel throughout the domestic United States to ensure a personal and professional relationship with the customers exists, as needed.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5-7 years of client procurement or customer sales experience
* Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
* Internal desire to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment
* Self-driven, motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
* Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently
* Honed organizational skills
