Our client is a well-established, industry-leading electrical contractor with over 70 years of experience delivering high-profile, complex infrastructure projects across the United States. They are part of one of North America's largest employers of skilled craft labour and operate across solar, battery storage, substations, EV charging, microgrids and data center electrical construction. About the Role



We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead energy construction projects end to end – from qualification and estimation through pre-construction, mobilisation, execution and closeout. Working closely with the superintendent and field team, you will own project delivery against contractual, budget and safety commitments.



Responsibilities



  • Managing full project lifecycle across commercial, utility-scale energy and data center electrical construction.
  • Leading and developing project teams including establishing roles, responsibilities and performance expectations.
  • Owning project financials including budgeting, cost accounting, productivity tracking and profitability reporting.
  • Managing procurement, scheduling and subcontractor relationships to ensure safe, on-time delivery.
  • Building relationships with clients, vendors and subcontractor partners.



Qualifications



  • 8+ years in electrical construction or related field with at least 5 years at project manager level.
  • 2+ years managing professional staff.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or business preferred.
  • Experience in commercial, utility, alternative energy or data center markets strongly preferred.
  • Must be authorised to work in the United States – no sponsorship available.



Required Skills



Experience in managing complex projects and teams, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in project management software.



Preferred Skills



Knowledge of alternative energy systems and data center operations.



Pay range and compensation package



$134,000 – $177,000 plus annual performance bonus. Final salary will depend on experience, qualifications and market location.
