Senior Analyst – Renewable Energy Finance
Piper Maddox are engaged on a search to find a talented finance professional to join a growing renewable energy team focused on wind, solar, battery storage, and transmission investments.
This is a unique opportunity to work across project finance, investment analysis, valuation, structured finance, and M&A, supporting the development and financing of critical clean energy infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage financial models for renewable energy projects.
- Support project finance, tax equity, and investment transactions.
- Conduct valuations, sensitivities, and risk analysis.
- Assist with project due diligence and investment decision-making.
- Prepare investment presentations and transaction materials.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, credit risk, and hedging strategies.
- Work closely with development, legal, construction, treasury, and asset management teams.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years' experience in project finance, infrastructure, energy finance, investment banking, or related fields.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure is a plus.
- Hybrid role based in San Francisco - must be able to be in office 3 days per week
