  • Hands‑on experience with Workday Procurement or a similar cloud‑based Procure‑to‑Pay ERP (e.g., Oracle, SAP Ariba, Coupa)
  • Experience in Procurement, Accounting, or Procure‑to‑Pay process leadership
  • Owned or led Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes end‑to‑end (requisition through payment)
  • Partnered with Finance or Accounting to ensure procurement controls, compliance, or audit readiness

Job Title: Sr. Procurement Process Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Process Lead to join our Global Sourcing & Procurement Team, partnering with the NEW Workday Center of Excellence. This role is perfect for a Procurement expert and technology enthusiast. As part of a dynamic team, you will provide global Procure-to-Pay process leadership, operational support, and lead global change within the organization. You will collaborate closely with Accounting and other cross-functional stakeholders to configure and implement Workday functionality, ensuring it meets our technological needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the requisition and purchasing subject matter expert for the Workday financial systems.
  • Lead, manage, and communicate training, global policies, and procedures for purchasing systems to increase user engagement and compliance.
  • Administer and delegate buying activities and the purchase order process to ensure effective and compliant purchasing practices.
  • Develop and conduct purchasing audits and compliance reporting to maintain effective controls.
  • Develop and maintain key sourcing metrics and provide ad hoc reporting as requested.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing and Accounting leadership to support overall strategy and recommend processes and solutions.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations through proactive communication and business partnerships.
  • Establish a well-controlled procurement environment by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • Participate in regular reviews of Workday Procurement, Finance, and HCM projects, prioritizing work to align with company goals.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply-Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Workday or similar Cloud Procurement ERP software.
  • 7-9 years’ experience in Procurement or Accounting.
  • Strong procurement acumen, including best practices for procure-to-pay, supplier interactions, and internal controls.
  • Advanced technical skills with demonstrated ability to deliver Workday solutions.

Work Environment

Preference is given to local candidates in Minneapolis who can attend the office 1-2 days a week. However, qualified candidates who prefer a fully remote role will also be considered.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $47.00/hr.
