A highly respected boutique advisory firm is seeking an experienced private wealth professional to join its leadership team supporting ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional relationships. Position Overview

The Senior Private Wealth Director will oversee a select group of complex client relationships while coordinating internal resources to deliver a comprehensive family office experience. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and as a strategic leader internally, ensuring exceptional service execution across investment management, planning, reporting, tax coordination, and day-to-day family office needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deepen relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, acting as a primary point of contact for ongoing advisory needs.
  • Coordinate across investment, planning, operations, and service teams to deliver seamless client solutions.
  • Provide guidance related to wealth strategy, retirement planning, estate considerations, tax coordination, and portfolio structure.
  • Lead preparation for client meetings, presentations, and follow-up deliverables.
  • Oversee portfolio implementation, rebalancing activity, liquidity planning, and cash management needs.
  • Support onboarding of new client relationships, including account setup, custodial coordination, reporting infrastructure, and investment policy documentation.
  • Review client reporting, performance materials, and customized communications.
  • Partner with outside professionals such as attorneys, accountants, and trustees to support client objectives.
  • Contribute to internal strategic initiatives, management discussions, and process improvements.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience within wealth management, family office, private banking, estate planning, or related advisory environments.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management, planning strategies, client service, and sophisticated wealth structures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and high-expectation client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong writing and presentation capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly collaborative mindset.
  • Strong technical skills including Excel, CRM systems, and portfolio reporting platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Series 65 or equivalent preferred. Advanced designations such as CFP, CFA, CPA, MBA, JD, or similar are highly valued.
