Senior Platform Engineer

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer to help build and operate the core systems that support a growing engineering investment organization. You'll play a key role in shaping cloud infrastructure, improving platform reliability, strengthening security, and enabling teams to build and ship software efficiently.
This is a hands-on role with broad ownership across infrastructure, automation, and operational excellence. You'll work closely with engineers and technical stakeholders to create scalable systems that support critical applications and data workloads.
What You'll Do
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
- Build, administer, and scale Kubernetes platforms, including cluster operations, networking, storage, and workload management.
- Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions to simplify operations and improve consistency.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities across platform services.
- Support secure access management, secrets management, and infrastructure security initiatives.
- Improve deployment workflows and developer productivity through automation and platform tooling.
- Manage core infrastructure services and ensure high availability across critical systems.
- Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.
- Participate in operational support and incident response activities.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience building and operating cloud infrastructure in production environments.
- Deep Kubernetes expertise, including cluster administration, scaling, networking, upgrades, and operational support.
- Experience managing containerized workloads and distributed systems at scale.
- Strong background in infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and performance analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security principles, and system architecture.
- Strong scripting or programming skills for automation and operational tooling.
- Experience supporting highly available systems and mission-critical services.
- A practical approach to problem-solving and a desire to continuously improve infrastructure and processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
