Francison Consulting, Inc., is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner/Scheduler to support large-scale themed entertainment and construction projects. This role provides expert planning and scheduling leadership across all project phases — from design through construction and grand opening. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of project scheduling processes, tools, and deliverables
  • Develop comprehensive implementation strategies and integrate master schedules across design, vendors, production, and construction disciplines
  • Lead project schedule reporting and planning sessions with all levels of project and organizational management
  • Coordinate with contractors, project team members, and systems planners to develop and integrate activity durations and logic sequences
  • Monitor project progress, evaluate risks, and present recovery and mitigation plans to support turnover and opening schedules
  • Lead manpower loading and resource analysis; develop and track earned man-hour progress curves
  • Prepare schedule reporting specifications for contract bid packages and determine schedule milestones and key dates
  • Conduct site walks and support field-level planning activities
  • Perform earned value analysis as required and provide management presentations and progress reports


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 6 years of engineering/construction planning and scheduling and/or themed entertainment planning/coordination experience
  • At least 6 years of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling experience; proficiency in Primavera P6 strongly preferred
  • At least 6 years of construction, production, and/or design experience, including work with large general contractors (e.g., hotels, shopping centers)
  • Demonstrated experience with pull planning methodologies
  • Solid understanding of project controls applications and earned value measurement
  • Experience integrating multiple project scopes: engineering, facility design, themed entertainment, and show installation
  • Ability to perform site walks and work in field environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of total planning/scheduling experience
  • Industry-relevant certifications or completed course studies (e.g., PMI-SP, AACE)
  • Prior experience as a Lead Project Planner/Scheduler
  • Prior supervisory experience of junior planning/scheduling staff
  • Background in theme parks, cruise lines, major resorts, or show/ride product lines
