AT A GLANCE:

Broad River Retail is seeking a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills to join the team as the Senior People Coordinator. The Senior People Coordinator reports to the Director, People Experience, but will directly support the Senior Vice President, People at all times and will also support the People Leadership Team (three Director level leaders) where/as needed.

The Senior People Coordinator must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. The Senior People Coordinator must also have a positive, joyful, and energetic attitude. The Senior People Coordinator will need to be able to work confidentially and professionally with flexibility in handling multiple priorities in a high-performing environment.


A DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER:


Executive Support:

  • Manage the Senior Vice President (SVP) of People calendar, prioritizing appointments and scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, ensuring the SVP is well-prepared with agendas, reports, and relevant documentation.


Communication Liaison:

  • Serve as a point of contact between the SVP and People Leadership, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the SVP and/or People Leadership where/as needed.


Project Coordination:

  • Assist in managing People projects by tracking deadlines, coordinating tasks, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Support the development and implementation where/as needed.


Confidential Information Handling:

  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information within the People Department.


Special Occasions:

  • Organize internal People events such as training sessions, team-building activities, and/or People Ally recognition ceremonies, handling logistics and arrangements that are led and owned by the SVP.


Office Management:

  • Manage inventory of office supplies, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipts.


Administrative Tasks:

  • Manage travel arrangements and itineraries for the SVP and People Leadership Team, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and order necessary materials to ensure the People department runs smoothly.


Additional Duties:

  • Execute other tasks assigned to support the SVP and People Leadership Team.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role working/supporting Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and presentation tools like Canva, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • High-level verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma with relevant experience considered.


WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT:

  • Physical requirements such as repetitive bending, lifting, and squatting. Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Be able to routinely lift 15 lbs. alone, or team lift heavier pieces
  • Hybrid role with three (3) days in the office.
  • Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Able to travel to company locations as necessary.
