Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Lead mechanical design of products that integrate PCBs, wiring, sensors, and electronic assemblies
• Design enclosures, housings, brackets, and assemblies with consideration for thermal management, EMI shielding, and environmental protection
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure proper integration of components such as circuit boards, connectors, and harnessing
• Perform tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, and structural evaluations to ensure product reliability
• Drive product development from concept through prototyping, testing, and production release
• Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and BOMs using CAD software
• Support DFM/DFA efforts to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and assembly
• Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers on component selection, prototyping, and production scaling
• Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical/electromechanical issues in the field or during testing
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on cross-functional projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience, with a strong focus on electromechanical or electronics-integrated products
• Proven experience designing for electronics packaging (PCBs, connectors, cable management, etc.)
