🎯 The Opportunity
This is a senior, influential role reporting into finance leadership. You’ll shape tax strategy across a complex partnership structure while supporting treasury initiatives that directly impact cash flow and investor outcomes.
Expect meaningful collaboration across Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Operations, and the C‑suite.
🔑 What You’ll Own
Tax Strategy & Leadership
- Lead U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax matters
- Drive tax planning across partnership/flow‑through structures
- Embed tax strategy into commercial decisions and capital deployment
Compliance & Planning
- Manage annual compliance with external advisors
- Oversee Forms 1065, K‑1s, quarterly estimates
- Lead sales & use tax, nexus assessments, and audit support
- Manage VAT for international operations
- Identify & document incentives/exemptions
Treasury & Financial Modeling
- Build and refine tax + cash flow models
- Support cash repatriation, intercompany funding, and entity structuring
- Assist with payment runs and global banking architecture
Cross‑Functional Partnership
- Collaborate across all business units to ensure tax is embedded early
- Manage external tax advisors, auditors, and authorities
- Improve tax processes, systems, and controls
✅ Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance required
- CPA required (or in progress)
- Master’s in Tax/Accounting preferred
Experience
- 7–8+ years progressive tax experience
- Public accounting background (Big 4 or similar) strongly preferred
- Strong partnership + multi‑jurisdictional tax exposure
Skills
- Deep knowledge of U.S. partnership taxation
- Indirect tax (sales & use tax, VAT) familiarity
- Advanced Excel + ERP experience (NetSuite/Oracle)
- Strong communicator & cross‑functional partner
- Highly organised, proactive, commercially minded
