The Role
TECfusions is hiring a Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure & Security to provide senior-level, hands-on leadership across the company’s internal IT environment.
The role spans infrastructure, systems administration, user support, IT security, and compliance. This individual will help stabilize, scale, and secure the internal IT environment while supporting a growing organization with increasing expectations around security, audit readiness, and operational maturity.
Experience working within ISO-driven environments, particularly as it relates to IT security controls and audit readiness, is highly valuable.
Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration
- Provide senior-level oversight and hands-on support for internal IT systems and infrastructure
- Administer networks, endpoints, collaboration tools, and user environments
- Manage hardware, software, provisioning, and system access
- Ensure stability, performance, and reliability of day-to-day IT operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers
IT Security & Risk Management
- Support and maintain the security of internal systems, networks, and endpoints
- Implement and uphold IT security policies and controls
- Identify risks and vulnerabilities and drive remediation
- Manage access controls, permissions, and system integrity
- Support incident response readiness and security awareness efforts
ISO / Compliance / Audit Support
- Support IT-related compliance efforts, including ISO-aligned practices
- Prepare for and participate in audits and control reviews
- Maintain policies, procedures, documentation, and audit evidence
- Ensure alignment with internal controls and security standards
- Partner cross-functionally to address gaps and improve processes
- Exposure to ISO 27001 environments strongly preferred
Operational Support & Process Improvement
- Act as a senior escalation point for internal IT needs
- Build and improve scalable IT processes
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, security, and user experience
- Balance responsiveness with structure in a fast-moving environment
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with internal teams across the business to support operations and growth
- Support onboarding, offboarding, access management, and asset control
- Translate technical needs into practical business solutions
- Help mature IT practices in a secure and scalable way
Profile
- 8–12+ years of progressive IT experience
- Strong background in infrastructure, systems administration, and IT operations
- Experience working in lean environments with high ownership
- Solid understanding of IT security and risk management
- Experience supporting compliance, audits, and documentation
- Familiarity with ISO-related IT security requirements; ISO 27001 preferred
- Comfortable operating as the senior day-to-day IT resource
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing vendors, systems, and user environments
- Strong documentation and process discipline
- Clear communicator with a practical, solutions-oriented approach
Preferred Background
- Exposure to Microsoft environments, identity/access management, and endpoint tools
- Experience with security tools and formalized IT controls
- Experience building or maturing IT functions in a growing company
