Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Hypergrowth Sensor Data AI comany in Arlington, Virginia (hybrid) is looking to bring on a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build and deploy production -grade ML systems focused on sensor fusion and computer vision. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of real-world data, performance optimization and applied AI systems

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models into production environments
• Develop and optimize sensor fusion and computer vision models
• Fine-tune model behavior to improve accuracy and reliability
• Improve model architecture and inference pipelines for performance and scalability
• Work on cross-functional team of DevOps, Software, Data and Product delivering robust AI solutions

Preferred Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in related field

- Experience building and deploying ML models into production

- Deep expertise with Python deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, etc.)

- Strong ML fundamentals: classification, regression, anomaly detection, ensemble methods, time-series analysis

- Background with embedded or edge ML deployments

Great to have:

- Masters or PHD in related field

- Background in aerospace, maritime or remote sensing domains

- Experience with signal processing, computer vision and/or reinforcement learning

- Background with Self-learning systems and Imbalanced data

- Expertise building out inference pipelines on edge hardware
