POSITION OVERVIEW

Our in-house litigation department is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to support our trial teams in the Seattle office. This role plays a critical part in managing all phases of litigation, from initial case development through trial. The ideal candidate brings deep civil litigation experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.


LOCATION

  • Seattle, Washington
  • Hybrid schedule: 2 remote workdays per week
  • Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility available)


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities
  • Manage discovery processes, including drafting, responding to, and tracking discovery requests
  • Maintain and organize case files, including document control and management
  • Prepare, review, and file legal documents in accordance with Washington State and Federal court rules
  • Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy development
  • Coordinate trial preparation, including exhibits, witness materials, and trial binders
  • Utilize document management systems and trial presentation software
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely case progression


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience providing litigation support in civil litigation
  • Strong knowledge of Washington State and Federal court rules and procedures
  • Hands-on experience with document management systems and trial presentation software
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in litigation related to real estate, title, escrow, or insurance defense
  • Regional experience within Washington, Oregon, or Idaho
  • Associate degree or paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program
  • Prior trial experience supporting attorneys in courtroom settings


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $40.00 - $48.00 hourly based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset, experience and location. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
