Job Summary: The position of Senior Leasing Associate has the primary responsibility of consistently producing a high volume of leasing deals in the South Florida area. In pursuit of that goal, daily tasks include client development, cold calling, network meetings and events, and market research. Self-motivation, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work with a team are critical components of this role.
General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for generating leasing deals on a consistent basis, which involves every aspect from generating interest through closing the deal.
- Represent the client’s portfolio in all leasing related transactions, including marketing, negotiation, and lease contract.
- Develop strategic tenant plans and leasing assumptions specific for each property in your assigned portfolio.
- Identify new tenants and negotiate leases with national, regional and local tenants.
- Attend networking events, advertise client’s portfolio to potential tenants, and tenant representation brokers.
- Perform regular site visits, due diligence and financial analysis.
- Prepare and present presentations to senior management addressing leasing and marketing issues for your assigned properties.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a commercial leasing agent, preferably on retail product.
- A current Florida Real Estate Salesperson or Broker license.
- Demonstrable interpersonal and relationship building skills, including the ability to work effectively in teams.
- Ability to work professionally with all levels of internal and external management, staff, and clients.
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, demonstrated in both writing and conversation.
- Flexibility and ability to work independently and execute projects with minimal supervision.
