Senior Landscape Architect
Location: Orlando, FL
An established, multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join its growing Orlando team. This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong technical expertise with leadership, client engagement, and a passion for high-quality design across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead landscape architecture projects through all phases, including concept design, schematic design, construction documents, and construction administration
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project stakeholders
- Prepare and oversee production of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
- Support business development efforts, including proposals and client relationship building
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level landscape architects and designers
- Ensure designs comply with local codes, zoning, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
- Licensed Landscape Architect (or ability to obtain Florida licensure)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools (Land F/X, SketchUp, or similar preferred)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
