Overview
An established, design-led multidisciplinary practice is seeking a Principal Landscape Architect to join its growing team in Miami. This is a senior leadership role for a motivated professional who is passionate about shaping innovative, resilient, and high-impact environments across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex landscape architecture projects from concept through construction
- Provide strategic direction and creative leadership to project teams
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Contribute to business development efforts, including pursuits and proposals
- Collaborate closely with internal and external multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff
- Ensure design excellence, technical quality, and project profitability
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
- Licensed Landscape Architect (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Significant professional experience in landscape architecture, with a proven track record in a leadership role
- Strong design, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience managing large, complex projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated success in client engagement and business development
- Knowledge of regional landscape, climate, and regulatory environments is a plus
