Senior Key Account Manager (Midwest)

Job Description:
Werk-Brau is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to lead strategic growth across the Midwest region. This role is responsible for developing and expanding high-value customer and dealer/distributor relationships, executing strategic account plans, and driving revenue and margin growth through consultative selling and long-term partnership development. The ideal candidate excels at relationship building, strategic account management, and establishing high-value business relationships that drive measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute strategic account plans for assigned key/major accounts across the Midwest territory.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with customer decision-makers to position Werk-Brau as a preferred long-term partner.
- Manage and grow dealer/distributor relationships, including joint business planning, pipeline development, training, and performance reviews.
- Identify, develop, and close growth opportunities within existing accounts and dealer networks (new applications, expanded product adoption, new locations, and competitive conversions).
- Partner with internal teams (sales leadership, customer service, operations, engineering, and marketing) to ensure alignment, responsiveness, and strong customer outcomes.
- Lead quarterly/annual business reviews with key accounts and dealers, including performance metrics, forecasts, and action plans.
- Maintain disciplined pipeline and forecasting practices; keep CRM and account documentation current and accurate.
- Support pricing and quoting strategy within company guidelines to maximize profitability and long-term account value.
- Track competitive activity and market trends; recommend actions to defend and grow share.
- Represent Werk-Brau at customer sites, dealer events, trade shows, and industry meetings as needed.
- Complete required training as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in key account management, strategic sales, or major account leadership (senior/enterprise level preferred).
- Demonstrated success driving growth through strategic planning, relationship development, and value-based selling.
- Strong understanding of dealer/distributor models and channel management best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; able to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Highly organized and self-directed; able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to travel within the Midwest region as needed.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Working conditions are normal for an office/home office environment; however, much of the time will be spent in the field.
- Must be self-motivated and self-managed.
