GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Senior Investment Operations Analyst at JFG Family Office will join an existing team of analysts whose primary responsibilities include, private capital operations, performance reporting, trading, and billing. This role requires a deep understanding of both public markets and private capital operations, as the firm is heavily allocated to private capital investments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Private Capital Operations:
• Maintain clear and detailed communication with clients, private investment management companies, and internal staff.
• Track the private capital investment process, including document retention, communications, transfer processes, and cash movement.
• Complete subscription documents with accurate information and submit to managers within one week of client approval.
• Follow existing processes to ensure private capital data entries (Initial Commitments/Capital Calls/Distributions/Statements) are accurate and updated timely to provide clients reliable, consistent, and high-quality data.
• Utilize existing reporting software to prepare account grouping, portfolio performance, and risk metrics for internal and client review.
• Troubleshooting and resolving questions tied to performance outliers.
Trading and Portfolio Management:
• Understand asset allocation models, basic portfolio construction, and basic trust and estate concepts.
•Execute and monitor trades in public equities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
•Manage trade flow and execute public portfolio objectives, including portfolio rebalancing, tax loss harvesting, cash raises, and model management.
Collaboration and Team Support:
•Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
•Work closely with the investments team to ensure seamless integration between public and private investments, supporting the overall investment strategy.
•Back up and support all teammates, learning from seasoned Operations teammates and assist with day-to-day tasks.
•Perform other operational-related projects as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
•4-5 years of experience in investment operations or a similar role, preferably within a multi-family office or investment management firm.
•Series 65 preferred.
•Experience with trading and reporting software (e.g., Envestnet Tamarac Advisor View and Tamarac Rebalancer experience preferred)
•Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
•Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure.
•Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
•Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

•Potential to receive a performance-based cash bonus based on several factors including theprofitability of the company, contributions by the employee to company performance anddefined roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
