We are actively recruiting a highly technical Senior Interior Designer or Senior Interior Architect to join our growing team. This is a hybrid position, with an expectation of working in the office alongside colleagues a minimum of Tuesday through Thursday.

Treanor is committed to equitable compensation practices. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, degree, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The anticipated salary range for candidates meeting the stated requirements is $90,000 – 100,000 and will vary by the states we operate in.
Primary responsibilities
- Assist architects and designers in the development of design solutions and presentation documents, including programming, space planning, concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration
- Formulate designs that are practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposes
- Assist with marketing and business development efforts, providing quality service to existing clients as well as developing project leads and securing new projects.
- Understand the furniture market, procurement, and specification procedures
- Knowledgeable in building codes, construction documentation and interior material specification
- Research interior products and apply established interior design standards
- Perform routine checking and/or verification tasks
- Provide team with regular updates on status, issues, or challenges related to projects
- Perform site surveys and documentation
- Maintain project records and resource materials
Position requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- NCIDQ Certified
- 10-15 years of practical design experience. See internal comps below
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with teams across multiple offices
- Highly proficient with Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Inscape, and the Adobe Suite of software programs
- Strong technical & technology skills
- Complete understanding of the commercial furniture market, and specifications
- Able to work as a team member and assist other Studios as necessary
- Willing to travel outside of local area to attend meetings at various sites (25%)
- High levels of activity and productivity; Self-directed and able to take independent initiative

- Able to clearly convey information and ideas verbally and graphically through hand sketches and/or Revit
- Able to quickly grasp new concepts
- Able to work on multiple projects
