Company Description
ReportingMD specializes in healthcare data acquisition and preparing curated, analytics-ready datasets for ACOs, payers, and value-based care organizations. The company integrates clinical and claims data from over sixty EHR platforms and external systems using cutting-edge technology, including FHIR APIs, HL7, and QRDA, with implementations typically completed in under four weeks. ReportingMD's solutions enable risk adjustment, quality reporting, population health management, and value-based care analytics. By providing seamless integrations and actionable insights, ReportingMD empowers healthcare organizations to enhance care delivery and achieve operational excellence.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Senior Healthcare Data Integration Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end technical execution of client data integration on the ReportingMD platform. This is a senior, client-facing individual contributor role focused on understanding client healthcare data sources, mapping and transforming data from EHRs and other systems into the ReportingMD environment, validating data quality and completeness, and confirming that results render correctly back in the client EHR and reporting workflows. The Analyst serves as the technical data lead during client implementations and ongoing data operations, working directly with large client organizations (ACOs, health systems, and practices) to ensure data is accurate, complete, and fit for use in MIPS, ACO/MSSP, eCQM, and other value-based care submissions.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
Client-Facing Data Integration and VBC support
• Serve as the primary technical data point of contact for assigned clients throughout onboarding and ongoing operations.
• Lead data discovery sessions with client IT, clinical informatics, and EHR teams to inventory data sources, extract methods, and integration constraints.
• Translate client data environments into clear integration plans, including source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and validation checkpoints.
• Communicate technical status, risks, and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
Healthcare Data Loads, Mapping, and Transformation
• Analyze inbound client data feeds across formats including HL7 v2, FHIR, CCDA, QRDA Category I and III, X12 837 (claims) and 835 (remittance), CSV/flat-file extracts, and direct EHR database exports.
• Map source data elements to ReportingMD's clinical data model and quality measure logic, including diagnoses, procedures, medications, labs, vitals, encounters, and demographics.
• Author and refine SQL queries and transformation logic to support data ingestion, normalization, and reconciliation.
• Identify and resolve data gaps, structural inconsistencies, and code system mismatches (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, SNOMED, RxNorm).
Data Validation and Results Confirmation
• Execute structured validation against ingested data to confirm completeness, accuracy, and conformance with measure specifications.
• Reconcile measure results against source EHR data and confirm with the client that calculated outcomes match the underlying clinical record.
• Document validation findings and lead remediation conversations with clients when discrepancies are identified.
• Support QRDA file generation and submission validation for MIPS, eCQMs, and ACO/MSSP reporting.
Operational Support
• Monitor recurring data feeds for assigned clients and intervene when feeds break, drift, or produce anomalies.
• Partner internally with ETL, engineering, and client services teams to triage and resolve data issues without taking on managerial authority over those teams.
• Maintain client-specific integration documentation, mapping specifications, and validation runbooks.
• Participate in quarterly client meetings as the technical data lead.
• Define product specifications for development team for user stories pertaining to data integration

• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience working with healthcare data in an integration, analytics, or interoperability role.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with large healthcare clients (health systems, ACOs, multi-site practices) in a technical capacity.
• Demonstrated experience with EHR data structures from one or more major systems (Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Allscripts/Veradigm, or comparable).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Healthcare Data Standards (required)
• X12 EDI 837 (institutional and professional claims) and 835 (remittance advice).
