Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer/ Geologist to join a consulting team based in Fresno, California.

This is a senior-level role focused on leading geotechnical projects from field investigation through final delivery in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform geotechnical field investigations and subsurface logging
• Conduct geologic mapping, hazard evaluations, and engineering analyses
• Prepare technical reports, figures, and supporting documentation
• Support proposals, cost estimates, and project planning
• Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff
• Work across full project lifecycles with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Geotechnical industry experience
• California PG, CEG, or PE license preferred
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical principles
• Field investigation and technical reporting experience
• Strong communication and MS Office skills
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork
