Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Senior FP&A Analyst to join a growing team in Phoenix. This role will play a key part in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large data sets, building financial models, and partnering cross-functionally to drive insights. Experience within the healthcare industry is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Partner with operational teams to evaluate performance and support strategic initiatives
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting packages for senior leadership
- Drive variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and clearly communicate key drivers
- Improve and streamline reporting processes, tools, and dashboards
- Support business case development, ROI analysis, and scenario planning
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across financial systems and reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience
- Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros a plus)
- Experience working with large data sets and financial systems (ERP, BI tools)
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Self-starter with a high level of ownership and attention to detail
