JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sr. Financial Analyst serves in a multifaceted finance role, partnering with executive leaders (ELT) to develop, manage, and optimize departmental budgets, leading the monthly financial consolidation process, and providing visibility to working capital trends across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory. This role delivers timely financial insights, forecasting, and analysis that support sound decision-making, surface risks and opportunities, and enhance overall financial discipline and performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly close calendar and coordinate cross-functional deliverables to ensure timely and accurate close execution.
  • Run month-end financial consolidations and prepare monthly financial statements, including PL, BS, and CF for internal consumption.
  • Partner with senior and executive leaders to manage operating expenses by providing visibility to actual results, forecast updates, and budget risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in compiling monthly external reporting for debt compliance
  • Identify and implement improvements to current processes, controls, and financial systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and business partnership


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Required; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of applicable FP&A experience or equivalent is a must
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Advanced MS-Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, data lookups, etc.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, BI tools or other data extraction methods useful; Epicor experience a huge plus++
  • Excellent communication skills: able to clearly communicate complex financial information both verbally and visually to non-finance professionals (ie schedules, charts, graphs)
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills. Able to synthesize multiple data sources into robust financial models
  • Intellectual curiosity a must. Desire to understand the business, identify opportunities to improve, and share key learnings with colleagues
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial processes and systems.
