Hyered is partnering with a leading global digital music distribution and publishing platform to appoint a Senior Finance Manager to join its growing New York-based finance team.

The Opportunity


As Senior Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of the business through accurate reporting, insightful analysis, forecasting, and financial control. Working closely with leadership, you will help drive informed decision-making while ensuring strong financial governance across multiple entities



Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple entities
  • Produce consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports
  • Develop and maintain consolidated reporting models and trial balances
  • Deliver monthly management accounts and flash reports, providing insight into business performance
  • Conduct budget versus actual variance analysis and support forecasting and planning activities
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and recommendations
  • Support annual budgeting processes and ongoing financial planning initiatives
  • Act as a key contact for external auditors, preparing schedules and supporting documentation
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency


About You


  • 3–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or a related field
  • Experience operating as a Senior Accountant, Finance Manager, FP&A Manager, or similar
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and multi-entity environments
  • Experience within music, media, entertainment, technology, SaaS, or other fast-paced industries is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • CPA qualification or progress toward certification is preferred but not essential

  • Advanced Excel skills with experience building financial models and consolidated reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes and drive efficiencies
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams
