As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a Senior Event Manager to serve as a leader within our planning team. This role is ideal for an experienced event professional who thrives on building client relationships, managing complex logistics, leading events, and helping shape the future of a growing company.


Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Event Manager to lead the planning, execution, and management of our weddings and events.. This is a leadership role for an experienced event professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing client service, logistics, team leadership, and event execution.

The Senior Event Manager will oversee a portfolio of planning clients, guide them through the planning process, manage event production, support company sales goals, and help lead the planning team.

Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for planning clients
  • Lead client meetings and guide clients through the planning process
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Manage budgets, timelines, logistics, and planning deliverables
  • Provide exceptional service and communication throughout the planning experience

Event Planning & Execution

  • Create and manage comprehensive event timelines
  • Coordinate venues, vendors, and event logistics
  • Lead wedding and event production from load-in through event completion
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively solve problems
  • Ensure every event reflects the standards and reputation of Ines & Marie

Team Leadership

  • Support and mentor Event Planners and planning assistants
  • Assist with training and onboarding
  • Promote accountability and organization across the planning team
  • Contribute to the development of systems and best practices

Business Growth

  • Participate in sales consultations with prospective clients
  • Support annual planning sales goals
  • Identify opportunities to improve client experience and operational efficiency
  • Contribute ideas that support company growth and profitability

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of event planning experience
  • Experience independently managing weddings or large-scale events
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Weekend availability
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

  • Wedding industry experience
  • Experience mentoring or managing team members
  • Experience with Aisle Planner, HoneyBook, or similar planning software
  • Luxury event experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary: $65,000-$75,000 annually based on experience
