Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits


We are partnering with a well-established, mid-sized general contractor to identify a Senior Estimator to join their growing team. This firm has built a strong reputation delivering high-quality projects across retail, restaurant, and hospitality sectors, and is actively expanding into new markets including healthcare, industrial, office, and other commercial segments.

With approximately $100M in annual revenue and a stable, repeat client base, the company offers both the resources of an established builder and the agility of a growth-oriented organization.


Position Overview

The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in preconstruction, leading estimating efforts across a diverse portfolio of projects. This individual will collaborate closely with leadership, project management, and clients to develop competitive, accurate, and strategic bids.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the estimating process from conceptual budgeting through hard bids and negotiated work
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
  • Partner with project managers and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
  • Provide value engineering recommendations and cost-saving strategies
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed
  • Mentor junior estimating staff and contribute to process improvements


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
  • Strong experience across retail, restaurant, and/or hospitality projects; exposure to healthcare, industrial, or office projects is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
