The Opportunity
- Lead the design of wastewater treatment facilities, including process, hydraulic, and system layouts
- Work on a diverse portfolio of projects including treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
- Take projects from concept through detailed design and construction support

The Role
You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on treatment facility design and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop wastewater treatment facility projects, including process and system design
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, plans, and engineering studies
- Perform design calculations, hydraulic analysis, and quantity estimates
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend upgrades or improvements
- Support or lead project management activities on a range of project sizes
- Develop construction cost estimates and support project budgeting
- Assist with permitting and regulatory documentation
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical input and guidance
- Support construction phase services, including design clarifications and coordination
What They’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering
- Strong experience in the design of wastewater treatment facilities
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain in Texas)
- Experience preparing engineering designs, reports, and technical documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Design experience across treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
- Experience with process design and hydraulic modeling
- Background supporting construction administration for infrastructure projects
- Project management experience on multidisciplinary engineering projects
- Texas PE license
