Senior Propeller Systems Engineer

In this role, you'll lead critical propeller system engineering efforts across the full product lifecycle- from concept development and certification through production support. You'll help define technical requirements, conduct trade studies, evaluate designs, and drive product improvements that enhance performance, manufacturability, and production readiness.


Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, manufacturing partners, and suppliers to solve complex technical challenges and keep development programs on track.


What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

• 6+ years of experience in engineering design, analysis, and development of mechanical or aerospace systems

• Strong understanding of full lifecycle product development, including design, testing, certification, and production support

• Experience defining requirements, supporting compliance activities, and evaluating design alternatives

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manufacturing organizations, and suppliers

• Familiarity with analytical modeling, CFD, structural analysis, CAD, engineering drawings, GD&T, and model-based definition

• Strong technical judgment, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

• Interest in aircraft systems, mechanical design, and manufacturing


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience taking a product or system from concept through production

• Experience supporting design transition into manufacturing

• Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, manufacturing, or engineering support activities

• Familiarity with propeller systems or other rotating mechanical systems
