Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Electrician - Manufacturing for our chemical & environmental services client based in West Memphis, TN. Domestic travel of approximately 10% may be required.
· High School Diploma / GED and 7+ year experience of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing /plant setting required
· Experience with Allen Bradley PLC and AutoCAD preferred
· Hourly rate up to $39 / HR DOE plus OT and excellent benefits
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Electrician – Manufacturing is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems within a manufacturing environment. This role supports safe, reliable operations by ensuring electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation function in accordance with safety and operational standards.
· Support electrical aspects of control systems, including PLC panels, HMIs, MCCs, VFDs, and associated field wiring
· Troubleshoot control-related electrical issues to support continuous operations
· Assist with control system upgrades, commissioning activities, and system modifications as directed
· Perform electrical work in a manufacturing plant environment
· Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, panels, motors, and control wiring
· Read and interpret electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and wiring drawings
· Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level, analyzers, etc.)
· Support loop checks, basic calibration activities, and instrument wiring
· Perform low-voltage electrical work, including control wiring, instrumentation cabling, and communications wiring
· Maintain compliance with NEC, plant electrical standards, and safety requirements
· Support safe LOTO and electrical safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or GED and 7+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
· Experience with PLC panels, HMIs. MCCs and VFDs required
· Experience with Allen Bradley and / or AutoCAD preferred
