Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Management of product development.
- Oversight of electrical design.
- Draft and implement hardware validation plans.
- Ensure new parts work in conjunction with design specifications.
- Ensure products are consistently improved upon.
- Assist sales and support teams as is required.
- Ensure first run production builds are up to standard.
- Work in collaboration with manufacturing team.
- Drafting of electrical procedures and testing methods.
- Support internal SMT/PCBA process as a technical expert.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related experience is required.
- 5 years of experience working with power supplies, LED drivers, or related hardware is required.
- Experience utilizing Altium Designer and PCB layout.
- Experience with EMC testing methodologies and UL certification is preferred.
- Experience working through UL certification (1598, 8750, or similar) is a plus.
- Familiarity with EMC testing methodologies (conducted/radiated immunity, IEC 61000 series) is a plus.
- Embedded firmware experience (C, Python, or similar) is a plus.
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work well with a team.
