Senior Electrical Engineer - Industrial

A high growth, multi billion dollar industrial manufacturer is expanding operations in the Southeast and investing heavily in new technology, automation, and plant modernization.

This is not a maintenance only role. You will be working in a real manufacturing environment where your impact shows up on the floor immediately. The company is adding headcount, upgrading systems, and pushing for higher levels of efficiency, reliability, and output across multiple facilities.

What You Will Do

• Troubleshoot and resolve control system and automation issues across production lines
• Program, modify, and optimize PLC and HMI systems
• Support commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades
• Work directly with operations to improve uptime, efficiency, and product quality
• Design and implement control system improvements from concept through startup
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics and control panel designs
• Support both day to day plant operations and longer term engineering projects

What They Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong PLC experience (Siemens highly preferred)
• Ability to program from scratch and troubleshoot live systems
• Experience with HMI development and integration
• Solid understanding of motors, drives, sensors, and industrial controls
• Comfortable working on the plant floor, not just behind a desk

Compensation

• Base salary: $100,000 to $120,000
• Annual bonus (5%) with consistent year over year payout
• Full benefits package
• Relocation assistance available (typically $10,000 to $12,000)
