Senior Corporate Paralegal
Our client, a longstanding private family office on the Peninsula, is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join their collaborative and highly professional team. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to broaden their exposure across real estate, corporate governance, investments, and trust management while gaining hands-on experience supporting contracts, legal operations, and strategic initiatives within a stable, supportive, and evolving organization.
About the Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to work across complex legal and operational matters while building upon a strong foundation in corporate paralegal work. The position is well suited for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, operating with a high level of discretion, and partnering cross-functionally within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Note: This is a 5x -week onsite role.
Responsibilities may Include:
- Management of legal documentation, approvals, and systems for tracking obligations and corporate governance materials
- Legal and operational support for real estate transactions, investments, due diligence efforts, and strategic initiatives
- Corporate governance support, including preparation of meeting minutes, board and trustee consents, resolutions, and supporting materials
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing agreements, contracts, and legal correspondence
- Legal operations support, including process improvement initiatives, monitoring legal budgets and expenditures, and special projects as needed
- Coordination with internal stakeholders across real estate, accounting/finance, human resources, and family office services, as well as external counsel, to facilitate workflow and execution
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal certificate required
- 10+ years of paralegal experience, ideally combining both law firm and in-house corporate environments
- Strong background in corporate governance, contract support, legal operations, document management, and project/workflow coordination
- Experience supporting contracts, corporate entities, real estate transactions, investments, due diligence activities, or other complex legal matters
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and sound judgment, along with a process-oriented mindset focused on improving workflows and operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, DocuSign, and related technology tools; trusts & estates or family office exposure is a plus but not required
