Position Title: Senior Chief of Staff

Location: Hybrid in Memphis, TN

Job Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $70-$85/Hour


Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Chief of Staff for a large, fast‑growing enterprise client. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to executive leadership, bridging strategy and execution across the organization. The role focuses on driving alignment, operational excellence, and delivery of high‑impact initiatives while operating confidently in ambiguity and complexity. The ideal candidate is a polished, seasoned leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about enabling executives and organizations to operate at scale.


Day-to-Day:

  • Partner with executive leadership to turn strategic priorities into actionable plans and roadmaps
  • Drive execution of enterprise‑wide initiatives across functions and stakeholders
  • Prepare executive‑level briefings, decision memos, and strategic recommendations
  • Track progress against goals, identify risks, and course‑correct as needed
  • Establish and manage operating rhythms (OKRs, QBRs, leadership reviews)
  • Lead cross‑functional coordination for transformation, modernization, and compliance efforts
  • Support governance, risk, and compliance alignment at the executive level
  • Act as a key liaison between executives, functional leaders, and external partners
  • Facilitate alignment, resolve competing priorities, and drive consensus
  • Coach senior leaders on decision‑making, prioritization, and organizational design
  • Support leadership effectiveness, talent development, and succession planning


Must-Haves:

  • Extensive experience in strategy, operations, consulting, program leadership, or executive advisory roles
  • Proven experience partnering directly with C‑suite or senior executive leadership
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, high‑stakes, and/or regulated environments
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive presence skills
  • Track record of translating strategy into execution with measurable outcomes


Plusses:

  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation or large‑scale change initiatives
  • Background in digital modernization efforts
  • Experience within large, enterprise‑level organizations
  • Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
  • MBA or advanced degree
