We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Chemist to lead advanced research, formulation, and analytical initiatives within a fast-growing, innovation-driven environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead formulation development, testing, and optimization of chemical products
- Design and execute experiments to support R&D initiatives and product innovation
- Oversee analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and other instrumentation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and regulatory teams
- Troubleshoot complex chemical and process-related issues
- Mentor junior chemists and lab technicians
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and SOPs
- Support scale-up processes from lab to production
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred)
- 5–10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong background in formulation chemistry and analytical methods
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO)
- Proven ability to lead projects and drive results independently
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities
Preferred Experience
- Experience in specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cannabis/hemp, or consumer products
- Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory submissions
- Prior experience scaling formulations from R&D to commercial production
