Responsibilities
oPerform testing and analysis on beer still loss, yeast, grain, dry-house samples
oPerform testing on NBW and immature liquid from the distillery
oChemistry testing analysis on any distilled samples and entering data into SAP
oNotify distillery of any off-notes on cistern tank samples
oEquipment verification specific to the lab prior to operations beginning
•Run the DMA and perform basic troubleshooting of the equipment
•Run the GC and GC/MS for sample analysis and troubleshoot the equipment
•Must be able to support the sample retention facility to include organization, retains on shelf and removing expired retains by the direction of quality management

Additional Skills & Qualifications
-B.S in Chemistry; ok w/ other degree if exposed to chemistry techniques
-1+ years of experience in professional lab setting outside of school
-Will consider more tenured chemist as well
-GC/HPLC experience; being able to interpret the data not only operate(open to having this experience in different industries)
-Maintenance & Troubleshooting of lab equipment would be a plus but not required.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clermont, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
