Position Summary
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is a senior client-facing role at the core of our growing Data & AI practice. You'll design and deliver modern analytics solutions, blend business intelligence with predictive insights, and collaborate directly with business leaders and technical teams to drive data-driven outcomes that create measurable business value. This role works hands-on with advanced technologies like Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake, while also leveraging AI and ML models to enhance and enrich client-facing reporting solutions.
What You’ll Do
Architect & Deliver Modern Analytics Solutions
- Design and deliver business intelligence solutions that combine reporting, dashboards, and embedded predictive analytics to drive business outcomes.
- Build powerful semantic models, KPIs, and analytics dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
- Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, and Synapse.
- Integrate machine learning models and predictive analytics into client reporting platforms to enable forward-looking insights.
- Apply advanced data visualization, modeling, and optimization techniques for performance and usability.
Lead Client Engagements
- Serve as technical lead on analytics projects, driving architecture decisions and solution delivery.
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate complex challenges into actionable analytics strategies.
- Facilitate client discovery sessions, workshops, and solution presentations that position Mutually Human as a trusted advisor.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual and team performance on projects, ensuring ongoing professional development and growth.
Collaborate Across Disciplines
- Work closely with our Data Engineering, AI/ML, and Software teams to build integrated, full-stack solutions.
- Support pre-sales conversations, client proposals, and solution design sessions.
- Stay on top of emerging data & AI technologies to continuously evolve client solutions and team capabilities.
Mentor & Grow the Practice
- Provide technical coaching, code reviews, and guidance to fellow BI team members.
- Mentor junior team members on technical skills, client engagement, and project leadership.
- Help establish delivery standards, reusable design patterns, and solution frameworks.
- Contribute to Mutually Human’s culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical leadership.
- Sales Enablement: Develop and deliver training, tools, and collateral to empower the sales team. This includes creating playbooks, conducting product demos, and preparing presentation materials that clearly articulate the value of our data and AI solutions.
What You Bring
Required Experience
- 5+ years in business intelligence, analytics, or data consulting roles.
- 2+ years leading BI technical projects, client engagements, or solution architecture.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, semantic modeling, Tabular Editor).
- Tableau development experience for building client-facing dashboards.
- Strong SQL expertise for data querying, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Direct experience integrating machine learning or predictive analytics into BI solutions.
- Strong client-facing consulting skills with the ability to lead solution discussions.
- Ability to engage both technical and business audiences and drive collaborative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to surface actionable insights from large, disparate data sources, with a focus on connecting analytical findings directly to measurable business outcomes.
- Experience acting as a strategic thought partner to business stakeholders, proactively identifying analytical opportunities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with cloud-native platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or Synapse.
- Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages for ML integration, APIs, or automation.
- Understanding of AI/ML model deployment pipelines and real-time predictive scoring.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Previous experience in consulting or professional services settings.
- Experience designing and leading end-to-end analytics journeys, from problem framing and data discovery through insight delivery, guiding business consumers toward confident, data-backed conclusions.
- Experience with AI-powered data agents, natural language processing (NLP), and conversational analytics to enable self-service insights and advanced data interaction
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Printing & Packaging, Construction, or Banking/Finance.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance or related fields (or equivalent experience).
