We have an opening for a Senior Business Analyst on a one‑year W‑2 contract with a client located in the I‑10/Energy Corridor area of Houston. This position is fully on‑site, Monday through Friday, and offers a W-2 pay rate of $70.00 per hour OR $80.00 per hour Corp-Corp.
The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working closely with cross‑functional teams, and brings strong analytical and communication skills to the table.
- Experience working RFI and RFP processes for digital solution selection including requirements collection, use case generation, and drafting business process data and workflows.
- Understanding data structure, framework and pipeline set up and expertise in data flow mapping to execute production engineering workflows, and quality control to play a key role in sustainable data integration.
- Expertise in petrotechnical data flow management in Wells and Production Operations digital solutions, and exposure to Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
- Proactive problem-solving and analytical skill set to troubleshoot challenges with database querying (SQL, Python, R etc.) and data QC.
- Attention to detail in project tracking to advance milestones (in JIRA) and develop Power BI dashboard for metrics visualization.
- Team-player with good communication skills, and able to work well in an agile environment.
Preferred
- Engineering background with 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas operations related projects.
- Good understanding of cost-benefit analysis and economic measures of merit.
