Senior Business Analyst – Healthcare Technology Programs

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support large-scale healthcare technology and digital transformation initiatives within a complex, enterprise environment. This individual will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and leadership, helping to translate operational needs into clear requirements, documentation, and actionable project deliverables.
This role is ideal for a business analyst who enjoys working across multiple teams, facilitating stakeholder engagement, improving processes, and supporting technology projects from discovery through implementation and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct business needs assessments and gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements
- Develop business analysis artifacts including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, gap analyses, business rules, decision logs, and traceability matrices
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, governance discussions, and project working sessions
- Capture meeting notes, action items, decisions, and follow-up activities while ensuring stakeholder alignment
- Partner with project managers, technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support project delivery
- Maintain organized documentation repositories, templates, and version-controlled project materials
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation readiness, training documentation, and operational transition activities
- Assist with process improvement efforts and workflow optimization initiatives across multiple business and technology teams
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting technology, healthcare, public sector, or enterprise initiatives
- Proven experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
- Strong experience facilitating meetings, managing stakeholders, and communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience supporting technology projects through discovery, planning, design, testing, implementation, and operational readiness
- Experience maintaining structured documentation repositories and utilizing collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, or similar platforms
- Strong written communication, organization, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Business analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, PMI-PBA, or similar
- Experience supporting healthcare technology, healthcare operations, government technology, human services, or other regulated environments
- Experience working with vendor-led implementations, systems integrators, or enterprise technology programs
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies
